• How many bedrooms does my new home need? 
• How many bathrooms does my new home need? 
• What is the minimum number of square feet I need?
• Do I need a garden or is a terrace enough?
• Do I want to be near the beach, a golf course, a hospital, a good vet, shopping, bars and restaurants?  
• What else is important to my lifestyle?
• What are the five nice-to-haves that I don’t need but that would be the icing on the cake?  Views? A roof terrace? A gym nearby? 
• Have I got my finances in place?  Cash buyers and those with a mortgage agreed have the best chance of having an offer accepted.
